Enabling Education in our Community
We offer Community Scholarships in response to school closures, family loss, and unexpected economic hardship. The Community Scholarship grants a reduced hourly fee of $25.00 for a full academic semester, covering all subjects/all instructors.
Drastic changes in life circumstances leave families without adequate structure and support structure for online learning. Our children deserve the best, but many of these services are beyond our financial means. Families reliant on local schools to provide essential support services face an impossible situation.
The security of having access to affordable education strengthens economic and familial bonds. During these hard times, we are making ourselves more present and more available to our community. We know that tutoring can change a life. There has never been a time when our educators are more necessary.

Eligibility: Families with situations significantly compromised by COVID-19 are encouraged to apply. Eligibility will be determined based on whether families have experienced a significant disruption: parent or guardian laid off/can no longer work, children suddenly at risk of leaving the academic system, children with previously identified LD lacking essential support services, etc.
