Finance for Teens
Over the course of a five day online class, Finance Basics for Teens examines the pillars of finance: Financial Institutions, credit, loans, taxation, insurance. Armed with essential financial skills and knowledge, teens will better navigate college loans and their first steps into the world of personal finance.
According to a 2016 survey by Credit Karma, 68 percent of young adults make at least one of four mistakes by age 30: overspending on credit cards, having an account sent to collections, defaulting on a loan, or missing payments. Finance Basics for Teens teaches financial literacy essential for avoiding these pitfalls.
